Animal Health Services - Aquatic Chelonian (Turtle) Research & Promotion Board

The Louisiana Aquatic Chelonian Research Board has the following responsibilities in the State of Louisiana:
 
   • promote the growth and development of Louisiana’s aquatic chelonian industry by expanding research related to aquatic chelonians 

   • improving the quality and variety of Louisiana aquatic chelonians through research 

   • increasing sales of Louisiana aquatic chelonians through advertising and marketing, thereby promoting the general welfare of the people of this state
